Clearly communicating Jesus Christ and His plan of
What's Your Story?
Encourage someone by telling your story today!Point others to Jesus and the hope you have in Him.
Challenge needs your testimony!
Challenge is written for non-Christians in order to help them to know the Lord Jesus Christ. This occurs through reading personal stories of how others came to trust in Him as their Lord and Savior and by hearing about the difference He has made in their lives.
Your conversion to Jesus Christ is a miracle and a wonderful means of witnessing to a lost world.
Writing a testimony for Challenge involves answering a testimony outline sheet of five questions regarding how you lived before you came to know Jesus Christ, how you committed your life to Him, and how you live now.
These outline questions are available as a Microsoft Word document, Open Document Format, and PDF.
With your permission, your testimony may be published in Australia, USA, several countries in Southern Africa including South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Argentina and India.

1 John 5:10-12
"Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within him; whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given about His Son. And this is that testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.…"
Writing a Testimony
The testimony outline sheet, written in chronological order for easy understanding, is the guide we use for testimonies.
When you write, avoid using terms and phrases that only Christians would understand. Tell the truth about yourself – your failures, problems and hopes. As people read and see themselves in a story, they will (God willing) believe what you have to say about your faith and embrace it in their own lives.
If you have any questions, please write to us. If you feel God is leading you to share your testimony, we pray that writing your story is a blessing to you and to thousands of people who do not yet know Christ.

Part 1: Your life before becoming a Christian
What was your childhood like? (i.e. family relationships, religious and/or cultural upbringing,
economic circumstances, events in your life etc relating to your Christian testimony)
Did you think about God or spiritual things before you became a Christian? Why/why not?
What specific sins, attitudes, and addictions did you struggle with before you became
a Christian? What do you continue to be tempted by? Is there a reason? (i.e. sexual
immorality, alcohol/drug addiction, pride, dishonesty, jealousy, unforgiveness, anger, ungratefulness etc.)
Can you think of any specific stories or life experiences that show examples of the above
struggles or how they were caused?
Part 2: Your Christian conversion
What initially prompted you to search for God?
How and where did you first hear the gospel message?
Why did you decide to become a Christian? (If you were a child at the time, what do you remember
about your decision?)
What did you pray to become a Christian? (or rather how do you know you are a Christian?)
Part 3: Your life since you became a Christian
What have been the biggest changes in your life since committing your life to Christ? What
changes has God made in your heart?
How has God helped you to overcome your sins, addictions and/or attitudes? Has He helped you through any difficult experiences?
What would you most like to tell other people who have had similar experiences as you
and do not yet believe in Jesus?
